The Rivera-Mitu Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that was established by Eliza Rivera-Mitu and her husband, Brian Mitu for the purpose of reaching out to those in need in the community.
We want to leave a legacy of giving and Christ-like compassion to our children Gianna and Sofia, and to teach them to give and help those who are underserved and underprivileged.
We believe that poverty should not be a hindrance in pursuing one’s education. We want to instill the values of perseverance and hard work in every deserving student that receives our scholarship award. We want them to believe that their goals are achievable, as long as they maintain integrity, practice discipline, and persevere in reaching them.
